Who needs toys: Day 194/365
I love when my children find new ways to entertain themselves. This picture happened after they destroyed a cardboard box and used it to slide around the kitchen.
Where is she?: Dat 193/365
I sent my daughter downstairs as a consequence to her bad behavior and heard her huffing and puffing the entire way down there. After a few minutes I went to check on her and panicked because I couldn't find her. After my 3rd or 4th scan of the living room, I found her bundled up on the couch in this blanket proud as punch that she had hidden so well.
Post appointment pick me up: Day 192/365
After my much dreaded annual physical, I decided to get myself a treat in the form of cookies and cream frozen yogurt topped with Oreo crumbles. It was pretty darn tasty.
Working on his skills: Day 191/365
After we finished lunch, I let my son play with his juice box while my daughter was on the playground. He loves straws and I figured he would take the straw from the box and play with it. Instead, he spent a good 15 minutes patiently putting the straw in and pulling it out of the little punch hole. Working on that hand-eye coordination all by himself.
Art time: Day 190/365
My daughter loves arts and crafts, and painting is no exception. I usually let her paint outside to be safe, but with all the rain we've had recently, outside has not been an option. So, against my better judgement I let her paint in our dining room and she enjoyed every second of it.
Her treasures: Day 189/365
My daughter loves to collect treasures (aka rocks, leaves, sticks) in the yard and give them to me as presents.
