She is over it: Day 139/365

My daughter is pretty much over my camera and me after the recital. I was trying to take a picture and asked her to look at me and this is what I got.

My little dancer: Day 138/365

I managed to get a quick picture of my daughter on stage before her 1st dance recital.

Dress rehearsal: Day 137/365

After 9 months, the dance year has come to an end. My daughter and I were both excited that it was time for her recital and dress rehearsal. I took this picture before rehearsal while she was waiting in the dressing room.

Water time: Day 136/365

It has finally warmed up enough to get the water toys out. I knew my son would love splashing at the water table and I was right.

Playing together: Day 135/365

My kids are getting to the age where they are starting to terrorize each other. So when I see a sweet moment like this, I just melt.

16 months: Day 134/365

Dogs are silly: Day 133/365

For Christmas, I bought our dogs new dog beds for our room because their old ones were in sad shape. But, my terrier has yet to spend one night on hers. This is how she sleeps most nights. On the floor, right beside the bed. Silly dog.

Mother's Day selfie: Day 132

My husband and children were wonderful to me for Mother's Day. But, my little guy had a rough day because his 1st molars are coming in and he just wanted to be cuddled and held all day. So, I obliged with no complaints.

A girl and a balloon: Day 131/365

I am amazed at the powers a simple balloon can have over children. We were at my hometown's spring festival and one of the politician's gave my daughter a balloon and it was like giving us a million dollars. She was so happy and stared at the balloon for ages.

The train needs to be decorated: Day 130/365

My daughter was playing with my son's train when she said "Momma, the train needs to be decorated and pretty." So, took matters in her own hands and made the train pretty.

He is all boy: Day 129/365

There is no denying this little guy is all boy. Give him a truck and a stick and he will happily play for an hour.

The walking toy: Day 128/365

My son just recently learned how to get off and on his walking toy by himself so I will often find him in random places just sitting on the toy and it cracks me up.

Selfie are entertaining: Day 127/365

My son loves to see pictures on my phone so to entertain him, we were taking self portraits.

Snack time: Day 126/365

I wanted to play with depth of field for a while, which meant I needed to take a lot of pictures and children won't cooperate with that. So, I took a break from eating my current favorite snack of PB2 and vanilla yogurt to take a few different shots. But, I won't bore anyone else with 10 shots of a container of yogurt, though.

Playing with friends: Day 125/365

It amazes me how fast children grow. Just a few months ago, my son showed no interest in playing with toys or other children. Now, he loves to play with his trucks and likes to play beside his friends in our church small group.

A boy and his dog: Day 124/365

My son is developing a big crush on our dogs. He loves to "pet" them (aka hit them) and his face just lights up when one of them comes in the room. Unfortunately, the love is one-sided so he has learned to get his dog petting time in when he can and a captive dog on the couch was fair game.

Can she see me: Day 123/365

My son found my daughter's water cup on the floor and decided her water must be better than his and started guzzling. She has fussed at him in the past for drinking out of her cup so I caught him looking around the corner to see if big sister was watching this time.

Obsessed little man: Day 122/365

I laugh when people say how much free time I must have as a stay-at-home-mom. This little guy gives me no free time, especially if he spots an iPad in my hands. But, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Little ballerina: Day 121/365

My daughter had pictures for her first dance recital so I couldn't resist taking a picture of her all dressed up. I'm prepping a box of tissue now for the night of the recital because I am sure I will need it.

Looking like a little boy more every day: Day 120/365

Definite glimpse of what is in our future as this little guy gets bigger.

What's for dinner: Day 119/365

We definitely have a climber in my son. He wants to climb in and on everything. So it really didn't surprise me when I turned around in the kitchen to find that he had climbed in the oven drawer.
